In Danish, hygge (noun, pronounced “hooguh”) refers to the Danish ritual of enjoying the simple pleasures in life. Woolfolk describes it as “setting aside feelings of anything emotionally overwhelming and enjoying the present moment.”
In the spirit of starting off a “hygge” new year, we invite you to join us in our lounge and second floor space of fibre space for a Hygge Knitalong. We will gather together to knit Varm, a quick cowl made of Woolfolk Hygge.
The only skills you need for this project are knit, purl and cabling – but if you haven’t cabled before, we are happy to teach you on New Year’s Day!
