You have many choices of fresh salads including avocado or tabouli, and the hummus and baba ghanouj are delicious. Can’t beat the falafel salad on a hot summer day!
South Block is opening a second location in Alexandria at 116 King Street. This is the perfect option if you need a refreshing smoothie or acai bowl which can be a great alternative to a traditional lunch.
La Pain Quotidien at 701 King Street. They have expanded their menu to include things like avocado toast (which can be served on gluten free bread) and daily smoothie blends. This is a welcome addition to the long standing choices such as gazpacho, salads and omelets.
Five guys located at 725 King Street has juicy lettuce wrap burgers that can be ordered easily online and will be ready for pick up when you arrive. Just be sure to skip the fries if you are trying to keep it healthy!
At Bastille Restaurant you can dine in our take out. They have a delicious fresh menu that includes a delicious salad with roasted organic beets, arugula, walnuts, crispy goat cheese with a shallot vinaigrette.
